Ducks: Domestic Mallards That Look Like Wild Mallards

Buff Orpington
Two posts in a day! Yay! (unexpected rhyme). Lucky peeps. Here is a post about Mallards. All domestic ducks except Muscovies are Mallards. I told you that in Getting Familiar With The Three Ducks so you will know but it is worth saying AGAIN. Some domestic ducks have been bred into different plumages, but some have been bred to keep their wild Mallard plumage. There are loads with almost identical females, so I will only show you drakes. I have also put some hybid wild Mallards here. Here we go! Quack! Actually, not quack! We are talking drakes here! No drakes quack! Sooo.. UN-QUACK!!!: Thanks to Feathersite and a few others for the photos!!

Rouen. Rouen are only capable of very
short flights due to their heavy breast,
bred to have lots of meat.

ALL HAIL AFRODUCK!!!!!

So, there's a load of ducks. Conclusion: AfroDuck is epic. Other conclusion: If a duck looks like a Mallard but not quite, it is a domestic breed gone feral (or not probably if it's by a farm or village pond) or a Duclair or a Mallard x something. BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
