Contributions For The Langstone Ark!!!!!

HI!!! Well, heres a great bit o news for those who live near Langstone Harbour, or anyone visiting Langstone. The Langstone Ark  is a project which aims to collect as many photos of any thing living thing around Langstone Harbour and Farlington Marshes (two amazingly awesome areas for wildlife-watching). The full rules are on the website langstoneharbour.org.uk. Just click contribution information. Email in your photos to ark@langstoneharbour.org.uk (check the rules to make sure you are not emailing in an incompatible photograph). Please get down there with any camera and get snapping! Any plants, mammals, fungi, birds, amphibians, reptiles, fish, insects, arachnids, molluscs, anything living (and visible to the naked eye !!!) up the coast of Langstone Harbour or Farlington Marshes. As the Langstone Ark aims to collect photos of all species in the Harbour, a photo of a really common species like a Mallard will be just as likely to be chosen for the website as a photo of the rare Red-breasted Goose. Mike Angel has already succeeded in taking a great shot of the Red-breasted Goose at Farlington Marshes. Well Done To Mike Angel! That doesn't mean you can't submit your Red-breasted Goose pics too. There is allowed to be lots of the same species' photos. I am going to submit mine from a while ago. I searched in the search bar for photos of Teal (Anas crecca), Eurasian Teal to those of you in places where you get other teals. There was no photos of Teal and I have got some good ones.

The Edible-nest Swiftlet is the only bird in the world that can make a nest entirely out of it's own saliva. This is eaten by some as "bird's nest soup".
